The bucket beside the soundtrack
Jules Ellis Patel puts on a movie score before turning to the kitchen floor. The music is the easy part of the Wednesday and Sunday cleaning plan. The bucket is what they have been thinking about.
Their ordinary mop still works. They can empty the single bucket and refill it as needed, and their vacuum is available for dry debris. What appeals to Jules is a supply of fresh water kept separate from whatever they wring out during mopping.
A foot pedal alone does not settle that choice. O-Cedar puts a foot-operated wringer on both ordinary EasyWring and RinseClean. Its comparison describes EasyWring as a single-bucket design. RinseClean has two tanks, separating the fresh supply from collected wringing water.
The whole system makes the difference
That makes the complete O-Cedar RinseClean system the relevant option for Jules. The kit includes the bucket, telescopic handle and microfiber head. A replacement head on its own would leave the bucket question unanswered.
The fresh tank must be filled, its flow valve used as directed, and the mop wrung in the spinner. Jules will still be doing the mopping, refilling and emptying. Separating the water supply does not promise that the mop head stays free of dirt.
Their glazed ceramic kitchen tile permits damp mopping with water. O-Cedar lists tile among the supported hard floors, and the wringer controls moisture. The floor’s own care instructions still apply. The carpeted hall stays outside this mopping plan.
Jules can fill and empty the system on the same floor. Their next concern is what happens when the music ends.
Room for the drying part
The head needs washing without bleach or fabric softener, followed by air drying. The bucket needs rinsing and drying too. O-Cedar says to rinse and drain the fresh tank, then leave its fill cap and flow valve open to air dry.
Jules is willing to do that. They are less willing to collect cleaning equipment with nowhere to put it. The shallow utility shelf cannot settle whether this complete system will fit, and space to store a dry bucket must also allow somewhere for it to dry first.
They choose RinseClean for the separate supply, with a place to dry and store it to confirm before ordering. They will check the complete package and keep the final total within their $320 budget. If the space is unsuitable, the current mop and fresh changes of bucket water remain available.
They have no interest in keeping two complete mopping setups.
When this does not matter
Refreshing the water in your existing bucket already satisfies you. A separate supply tank then adds little to your buying decision.
The practical fix
- Choose the complete US O-Cedar RinseClean bucket, handle and microfiber-head kit for separate fresh supply and wrung-out water.
- Confirm that your floor permits damp mopping and that you have space to air-dry and store the system. Check the package and final purchase total before ordering.
- Fill and use the supply tank and flow valve as directed, then wring in the spinner to control mop moisture. Empty the collected water after use.
- Wash the head without bleach or fabric softener and air dry it. Rinse and drain the tank, leaving the fill cap and flow valve open to air dry before storage.
This applies if…
- You want the fresh-water supply kept apart from wrung-out water during manual mopping.
- Your floor allows damp mopping, and you accept filling, emptying and after-use care.
The answer changes if…
- You cannot provide suitable drying and storage space, or the floor cannot be damp mopped.
- The listing is for a replacement head or another system instead of the complete RinseClean kit.

What to check in your own setup
- This is a manual mop system. Water separation does not establish better cleaning, a hygiene benefit, time savings or an always-dirt-free mop head.
- Storage fit and final checkout charges depend on your space and order.
- Match the O-Cedar RinseClean spin mop system listing to model RinseClean Spin Mop & Two Bucket System (retailer model 169453). Variant: US complete bucket, handle and microfiber-head system.
